the kit will come with everything u need for the rear. new hangers and shackles for the leaf springs. any blocks and pinion shims can come out. shims may need to be adjusted. for the front it comes with the lower control arm in the kit. just need to put in a stock upper. other than that fix the diff. put the diff as high as u can. stock location is ok but if there is anyway to go a slight bit higher than stock it will be good. my cvs have a slight angle up. still launches straight without a problem though.

put stock keys back in too. and if you have ladder or traction bars they will probably need adjusting.

The one the T-Bars and Key go into or the Diff Brace?

The cross member for the differential. On a lot of lifts the torsion bar cross member is retained, it just uses drop brackets that bolt to the frame then the cross member to it.

Can I get some of you to post some pics of your trucks that have the diff brace and some that have removed it. I dont have my truck with me to look at, and I want to get an idea of what I am going to have to do.

So as far as I know and correct me if there is more to it. For that diff brace, I buy the cognito peice, weld it back to my front diff. Get the backet and bolt it to the frame then the diff? Is it really that simple?

Cognito bracket for diff and crossmember has to be welded in. New spindles and remove torsion bar crossmember drop brackets

Just curious as to what issues would arise while keeping the cognito uca's In and getting djm lca's? I am asking because I will either be Drop keys or lca's to get the proper geometry out of the front end. Ie correct camber and alignment specs. Currently run cognito lca's with stock keys with no bolts in te keys and 3" drop shackles in back. I want it only a hair lower if any. Just don't like the loose feel of the bars bottomed all the way out. Will keys be fine for what I'm looking for? Also just curious about the cognito uca's causing issues.

Just thinking out loud here and please those of you who know chime in. But if I run the DJM 3/5 kit, will I have any issues with ball joint/tire rod end angles, or have any issues with alignments.

I think one issue that will arise when lowering the front end while using the Cognito UCAs is ball joint angles on top. If I am correct the Cog UCAs geometry is set up to accommodate lifts in order to keep the ball join angles straighter. If you go the opposite direct with the arms I believe the BJ Angles will be way off. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

Can't you just flip the balljoints to accommodate the height of the truck being lowered down? So that the angles aren't off? If that makes any sense?

yes stock to lowered, the ball joints in through the top of the Cognito UCA but leveled or lifted, they go on the bottom of the UCA.

So can I use the djm lca's with the cognito uca's? If balljoints installed flipped?
