Good luck, your biggest problem will be trying to quit, i remember a local pull i wanted to hook my regular cab at back in 2004, it was just going to be for fun, one time. Its hard to quit.:D

Agreed. Started in 09. 3 hooks. 2010- 11 hooks. 2011- 25 hooks All on my street truck that i didnt want to make a dedicated puller. Now got an 05 3500 that we are making our puller. All downhill from here man. Lots of fun and lots money/time invested:woott:

Caldwell , Oh
I started pulling in 06 . 2 years later I got married sold the truck to a friend , then had my son . I went a whole year without even going to a pull except for one . The next year my friend had me pull it a couple times when he couldn't make it there . By the time I pulled it the second I had went and bought another Dmax . And now I am further into this one than I ever was in the old one .

Moral of the story you can't get out of it after your in it .

yall are getting me nervous about the addiction!! I have enough hobbies as it is, wife would rip my sack off if I get into something with my truck! She already threatened me about running it down the track, but like they say...its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission... whooooooop!!

Whether I make it up to the pull or not, I will give yall an update from my brothers point of view. I'm trying to figure out how they are doing the classes now.

Thanks for all the tips!

Ya, that cut the diesels out of the event so none of the guys he went with were able to pull. Waste of time from that point of view. Good thing I didn't drive up there for nothing! I had to take care of business and couldn't make it.

Thank you all for the insight! I'll let y'all know if anything local come up again and I'll be a little more prepared next go around...hopefully they are too!
