Ya but I had some concerns that if I pooched the gaskets (that's what my manual says) ,my luck, I believe there is two,well I'm sure it wouldn't be a part my dealer would have on the shelf. It was simple actually the way I did it.

its a copper washer, just like on brake hose- reusable.

Believe me I considered doing that until I got out the service manual and the crush washer (which technically you should not reuse) were described as a gasket ,so not really knowing exactly what they were as Frank Sinatra sang I Did It My Way.

I don't believe I would have gotten it done much faster but I do appreciate the advice which can help others.

It's a pretty simple job either way.

If I recall there the same cooper washers that we use for the oil drain. I have a whole bag of them here.
