Finally got around to putting these together...
One issue after another.
First Andrews power supply is a 20 pin ATX format, his mobo is a 24 pin....had to order an adapter. issue #1
Then said oh wtf, I have (2) 24 pin power supply out of my desktop that I never use. figured what the hell, at least I can get it running and install software and such.
Went to install the CPU cooler....its too tall for the case...bought a low profile one locally. Issue #2
Mobo won't post....Motherboard DOA. Had a few other CPUs laying around....nothing works. HD spins up but just sits there No screen on 3 different types of monitors. New Mobo ordered....Issue #3
Given up until motherboard shows up.
So figured, hell I better make sure mine works. the cooler wont fit the mobo, they are so small the heatsink hits other crap on the mobo and won't make contact with the CPU.... issue #4
it does however post, but couldn't run it very long due to CPU overheating and I didn't wanna melt it.
So gonna go tomorrow and find one that works so I can at least get it running so I can get some videos to you guys on how these will work.
oh yeah, the AM/FM tuners that I bought, were discontinued a day or so after I ordered them, and the antenna is no longer being made...so prob gonna have to scrap them and get a USB stick one....I ordered one so it should be here monday. issue #5...
