I just finished up doing some pretty major changes to the interior of my single cab LMM. For some reason, GM decided to limit the available options on those trucks, but thanks to a good friend of mine, we were able to add almost everything you could possibly get on one of these trucks. The truck came out of the factory as a base model work truck with rubber floor, manual windows and locks, single zone manual hvac, etc. It now has power windows and locks, full floor center console, digital dual zone hvac, keyless entry with remote start, steering wheel radio controls, and dic buttons. It still has the manual tow mirrors, but I'm working on finding a good set of power fold regular mirrors. Now I need to get started on my short bed conversion.

I always thought it was cool that my single cab LMM had as many factory options as you could get.

Don't see many of them

I loved my single cab lly that was as loaded as they came. I'm not one for full consoles in single cabs but that remote start is awesome!

I don't know why, but I love upgrading interiors in trucks! Looks awesome. Could have sprung for the heated wheel though :roflmao: Really intersted to see what you come up with for the power fold mirrors. I looked into it when I swapped that style mirror on my truck and looks like all the door wiring has to be changed and some kind of door module has to be installed along with programming. Let us know how it goes.

interested about putting a steering wheel with controls in my LLY did you do a thread for all the work Josh?

There's a write up on another forum like gmfs or similar for a gmt800. Iirc Clock spring, wheel, and finding a competent tech at a dealership and your good.

Fortunately for me, the donor truck for all the dash and door panel was one of the rare LT trucks that came from the factory with power fold mirrors. It uses the same style door switches as the LTZ. I'm actually on the lookout for some LTZ door panels to use with my LT style dash (I prefer it over the LTZ dash).

I've been looking for a decent deal on LTZ door panels for a while but everyone is pretty proud of them on EBay. I like upgrades but not paying $750-$1000 for door panels lol

That is awesome Josh! I would love to add power windows, seats and locks plus digital Hvac to my WT. Is it as simple as finding the correct parts and letting the BCM know the power options are there?

Interesting, I never knew you could get an LT with power fold mirrors.

Its strange that the LT GMT-900 trucks have windows/locks wired "the old fashioned way" rather than smart door modules like on 03-07 and 07.5-14 LTZ trucks.

So I guess the trucks that were LT, with power fold mirrors had some rare switch modules and wiring harnesses?

I would really like to see what the door modules look like. I really want to make my mirrors fold like they are supposed to. Josh will you take a pic of the LT power fold switch?

Yeah, my buddy that works with me who has done a lot of stuff to these trucks said he has never seen an LT with power fold mirrors before. The switches are the same as the LTZ, and they have the same wiring harness in the door. The panel they are mounted into in the door panel is different though.

I will take a picture for you, but they look just like LTZ window switches. I'm on the lookout now for some LTZ door panels.
