Last June picked up an 02 LB7 with low miles. "I need a tow rig" was my excuse. Well we started a new build on my white truck & we're waiting around for that to happen. Had an injector start knocking, tranny limps on every hill blah blah blah... Fixed all that & tried a few little things & oops we're racing it this weekend in Ennis. Test & tune just went 11.91 @ 113. Poor stock motor:D

I don't know how to post pics from my phone but once I get to the office I'll post it.

Both LB7s;) Considering the weight difference this one probably makes more power. This nitrous stuff is pretty awesome!!

 I'm jealous of everyone who got to go to Ennis I really wish I could've made it this time. I'd love to drop my ET.

Haven't watched em. I'm busy pushing the little red button. I can't multi task lol. I went 11.83 this morning during qualifying for super diesel. I'm running tune 4 which is 2400us with 45% over Exergy injectors with a .62 nitrous jet. For sportsman I'm running tune 3 2200us with no spray & my egts get up to 1600 & stay there on tune 3. Ran 12.7. Eliminations are starting now so I won't be watching any gauges.
I started hearing some fuel rattle while staging last night. Checked everything. Turbo's good. #8 injector balance rate is -3.2. Good ole LB7

Haha nice. Yeah nothing matters at eliminations!

I was just curious how the stock exhaust does at that level.

Stock exhaust on the 02 federal emissions is just 3 1/2 pipe with a muffler. Never had a cat. Don't see how it hurts. 12.7 on stock charger, no spray, 30 lbs boost @ 1600 egt isn't bad imo.

On another note I have a new favorite race tire! Nitto NT05R. 305/45R18

We had a street racing event here at the local track in Hobbs this afternoon. Rules were different than anything I've ever tried. DOT tires, no water in the box, no clock displaying your time, just a win light. They called the tree an instant green. Light both bulbs & it goes straight to green. They were drawing cards to determine who ran against who. In my first elimination round I drew the guy that set the whole event up. He has a built TA with spray that had gone 10.9 on this track. Well I wasn't ready get sent home in the first round so I put in a bigger jet & sprayed it off the line. He laughed when he drew the only truck in the event but he quit laughing after I treed him & knocked him out in the first round! I know his car is faster & he said he wasn't spraying but that's street racing:D

They had the clocks on but they weren't handing out slips. At the end of the event we were able to go to the tower & see our times. On my best run I went 11.73 @ 110. They let me snap a picture with my phone so that's all I have. My name is A Wiebe on the page.

That was at 6200 DA!

Plus a good head wind. The conditions weren't ideal but it survived. I doubt I'll ever push this truck that hard again.... My wife informed me that we can't afford to build the white truck & blow this one up in the same year:eek:
