So what do you think it's power output is? Also I can understand the traction issues with weight being so light. What did you to offset the truck being front end heavy? Does the motor sit further back than it traditionally would? Did you use any kind of weight ballasts? Just curious cause the trucks setup reminds me more of a gasser funny car or similar. Not that that is a bad thing just what it reminds me of.

Didn't realize you had to run a certain time to post on this forum. I was simply making a point that at almost a third the weight of my truck the power output to go that fast is decreased but I don't have a 12.3x or faster time slip so I'll be quiet :thumb:

it peaks around 1200, it's track avg is about 950-1000, but that is because of the tire shake and spinning issue's we have, next year we will have more hp i think and a better more sound chassis.

front end is very heavy, around 60% on the nose, on the weight i'de rather take it out , but thats not a option....

So you think....

I'm with Wade on this, what works in a 7k lb truck is far from optimum in a 2800 lb car. If you don't believe us ask Scott Bentz how easy it was to get their dragster into the 7s. In a light car it's a struggle to get enough load to make the motor happy. Wade has even more challenges by being a clutch car.

Exactly!

i think if a person has enough time and money the clutch can be faster, but im short on both....including patience

I will use my duraflite first season. Dont have money or time to change transmission now, but I believe it will work at first. We will see..

You should Mika, and hope it does! You will be lighter so that should help,I would think?

but how much lighter?? you will still load the truck right?

Kudos to ya both for doin different stuff:cool:

so is a bruno in your future?:joker:
either way my hats off to ya for trying something off the radar. I do wonder how a dual pressure bruno with a good converter would work in your truck. i can't help but wonder if being able to load the truck on the line and build more boost would offset the weight disadvantage. also I would imagine not having the direct drive might help cushion the hit and help the traction/shake issues as well.

not to take away from Wade but the bruno has been run for a while in Dirtymax:) Having a trans brake is AWSOME! Wade has the joy of higher RPM if he selects it right he will rock the world:thumb:

I'm still waiting for my pm you were sending about all your championships and trucks/motors you have built. Also would like the answer on how you suck oil in your intake because your valve seals moved up??? With boost that's hard to do. If you can show me ANY paper, form, time slip or ANYTHING proving you make anywhere near 1200hp, I'll buy you the tranny of your choice. PS cars don't make the numbers you are saying also. Better question what does my truck make for power with the motor that is in it now?? 12.15 at 108 at 6100 lbs. I ran it with 1/2 tank of fuel and junk inside because I drove it there, normally 6000lbs. If you can't load your turbo's at that weight then you have the wrong turbo's! I'm still waiting on my PM with details so I can put my shirt on that say's your my daddy, Champ! Your best fan Jeff

I've desided to move on, playing cat and mouse with you is like predicting the weather....Jeff How old are you? Move on man. Unless your next to me in a diesel truck you have nothing to say that matters. You think you know what it takes to make a diesel run at this level, proove it! I have.

Least I'm not the only one who thinks that way but wait my truck isn't fast enough for me to think

Not to fuel the fire but what races did this truck win this season?
