Its gonna be awesome to see what it will do. I think it will make a couple of good passes but your engine is gonna be pretty mad at you....:thumb:

Get rid of all accy brackets, PS pump, A/C fan and all. You'll drop 100lbs easy. Rick has ran the Chevelle for years with no fan even as a DD. we also ran it all season with The triples and no fan. Build a nose cone, and add a belly pan.

Fan and A/C compressor came off today, but I don't think I could get by without the power steering or power brakes.

I finally got a chance to drive the dumpster down the road and weigh it on the scale at the truck stop. After all the weight reduction, I managed to get the weight down to 5320 with me in the driver's seat. I was shooting for 5300, so I got pretty close. I'm not sure if there's anything else I can pull to get the weight down. The only thing I can think if that might help is if I built a lighter weight engine cover (the stock one is surprisingly heavy) and/or light weight suspension stuff like maybe some coil overs or some lighter weight A-arms. Or I could go on a diet, but...

I'm not trying to run 128. I'm trying to run a 10.99. See what it says for that.
