the 36' one weighs in around 10,500-11,000 and rents out for about 3 or 4 grand a day

and with a full waste tank weighs in over 16,000 thats without the 250 gallons of freshwater for flushing! that was a long 800 miles with white knuckles!

Man thats a light weight! They told me that one I pulled from NJ to Long Island NY was a 26ft and empty weight was 11,000!

This one sitting in my drive is kind of scary. It look like the tires were soft so I checked the pressure. They were fine, but its a single axle and the tires are rated at 2540 each. The empty weight is almost max'in out the tires. And its got a 225 gallon fresh water tank. Dont know how big the waste tank is. It says it has a 6000 lb axle. Glad I wont be the one moving it with water in it!

Also has A/C, heat, hot water heater, stereo system, in addition to all the normal things you need in the crapper. 4 stall, porcelin toilets.

I'm thinking about keeping it!

Customs in Canada messed up big time. One of our drivers crossed Sunday with a turd trailer going to the same place. The customes agent assigned my 'pars number' to his trailer. So I get there and my number cleared and isnt in the system:mad:

7.5 hours sitting in downtown Detroit to get it figured out:mad::mad:
oh well, that was the first big goof like that.

what did they pull you for. i'm in wyoming right now picking up one of the big porta crappers. should be ready to go late tonite or in the morning. nebraska has those weigh on road scales that select you to pull in. (fingers crossed they'll be closed on a sunday)

TN pulled me around back cause he couldn't see my magnetic signs. At 5 am. go figure.
he told me pull around back, bring and your papers inside... then he didnt even look at any of it, just lectured me about sign visibility.

I've had those Nebraska scales tell me to pull in even tho I didnt have a trailer. No ah ah. I blew past em.

... sitting in indiana..... for second day in a row. pace american trailers has horrible customer service, they said two hours wait followed by full day followed by noon following day for work on this trailer. (boss had me stop to get a few things fixed before it gets home.) also had small problem along the way with oil return line on large turbo, the people at wells cargo (pace's competition) let me pull truck right into the shop and use all of their tools and welder, these guys are the best, i will never go to pace trailers again.... should have welding done by about 8 (just got up) and grab trailer asap for a bday margarita with the gf.

the only open weigh in motion scale that was open bypassed me and all the rest have been closed so far. i will not be stopping at any unless i'm flagged in.

this trailer scaled out at 11,300 gross dry (vin plate says rated for 12k) with a 1580 tongue weight! glad i bought a equal-i-zer hitch shortly before this job!!!!! gvcw on this trip is 18,880; front axle 4,000 rear 4,680 trailer axles 10,200
