i learned alot and would deffinetly like to be a fly on their walls...

all of them built something out of nothing

that would be history i would have wanted to learn in class!!!

I watched what I could and it was a very good show.

summary starts from 1860s and runs to WWI

it was interesting that about 5 guys built and laid the foundation for use being the economic power house it became..

though it is a classis example of what no regulations looks like.. though we could kiss gold gate bridge, st louis arch hoover dam pannamal cannal and the like good bye with today regulations

the only thing I saw was a bunch of greedy a$$holes whom dont care about nothing but power and money me and most people who work for a liveing are dirt and are lower......F... that I bleed the same as the next person

I'm watching it now and think it's a awesome series. It's a prime example of how to take the bull by the horns and make what you want happen and not just sit there and cry when it magically doesn't. I learned a lot throughout the series.

I found it to be a good watch, but there are pieces of information that I know were left out, or ignored. An example was the Eads bridge, the reason it took the shape it did was due to tons of restrictions placed on it. Hight was the second biggest one (first being it could not restrict the river.) Only reason I remember this is I love that bridge... To think, a bridge built almost 150 years ago, designed on a wim, and built because someone though it could be built, but in every way untested and unknown, and is still in use to this day with no major modifications (and I believe it has been hit at least twice by barge's...)

Not complaining though, overall I enjoyed watching it.

I didn't bother I figured there would be an agenda of beating down the US behind the shows. Maybe I'll DVR them when they are on again.

I'd love to know some greedy a$$holes like them. I'd ride there coattails right to the top.:thumb:
