The interior is mostly gone, and there is now only one seat. The unknown is the weight of the rollcage.

My guessimate of it's new dragweight would be perhaps 6300 with driver, or about 100lb loss. I'll weigh it when we are done, but for LSR racing, weight is a good thing.

Some people had asked me about different video's of Casper. So I kind of make a history thread. Still need to add the sled pulling video.

Casper retiring? That isn't going to happen anytime soon. He is in thief recovery mode at the moment. Getting a full cage installed. His just lost all resale value  I wonder what would happen if I stopped making the payments and they repo'd him? ;)

Just making sure! :)

Guess you should have bought the gap insurance. :D

Casper is getting changed over to a 200+mph Land Speed Record truck

I knew that ,that's why I was wondering ,giving up before he even got started.

Pat, I am sure you have already thought of alot of aero stuff, but I remember when the nascar truck series began there were alot of problems. I know they are not really trucks with their tube chassis and all, but they are basically the same shape, and the teams had a hard time getting the truck to stick to the road iirc. just a thought.

I'm still negotiating with SCTA about running a Craftsman Truck. It's the safest option IMO. But they haven't made a decision yet.

Pat called from the rollbar shop. He says the cage is looking great and wouldn't have any problems letting his wife run a 9 second 1/4 mile with it
