My Trans is finally apart, and I must say it's toasted!! C1's through C-4's are destroyed. C-2's and C-3's were all down to the metal, and are all dome shaped. C-2 release springs were all broke due to coil binding I'm assuming. I didn't see any hard part damage other than some gouging on the edge of the C-2 cage that holds the clutch packs. I guess this is due to the lack of clutch material taking up the space, and it bottoming out? I'm replacing all the clutches, and had to order a complete new Trans-Go kit just to get the damn springs i needed:mad: So if anyone needs what's left in the Trans-Go kit let me know.

It's amazing the truck still drove fine, as long as I didn't get on it. There wasn't any metal that we could find inside the trans, so I'm thinking the converter is fine. All of the broke springs were contained, which was good too.

My punishment for my retarded way's is as follows!

I will not do boosted launches until my Trans has relearned!

Wow

I'm still learning here, just how long does it take to relearn? Isn't it always learning how you drive? 500 miles long enough or less. I am about to rebuild mine soon and I need to know so I won't have too post like LB7Diesel did.

How much defuel were you running?

It varied. I alway's had some de fuel. My problem was not letting it completly re learn before turning the bottle on and setting the co pilot to kill. It all started in my 3-4 shift, and without wanting to face reality that my trans was f-ed, I/ others tried to fix it with tuning, that doesn't work so well. Guess I had to learn the hard way:D

Sorry about the carnage:(

LOL!!! Actually I never thought of it until now!

Did you get my PM about the pipe?

I did Mike. I thought I responed, but see I didn't. Sorry! I found one. What an expensive little tube:eek:!!

For those that have installed a Co-pilot. That little return tube you cut to install the sylnoid is 90 bucks to replace, unless you know someone who has a used one!! Unbelievable!!
