It wouldn't let me login with my old info at all, in either browser, so I had to create a new user ID. Once I did that, I was able to checkout in Internet Explorer. Still doesn't work for Firefox. So, yes Cindy, at first, with Firefox, the VAT was added in because I was trying to checkout as a guest and not with a user ID.

That is correct. There is a big warning on our home page and on the account login page that your old details wont work and you need to re-register.

As a guest you default to a local NZ based customer and are charged the correct local taxes.

System is working as designed.

Cheers

So how about when we try to re register and it skips over the bill to section, right to shipping. It would not let me select anything to add any billing details. So creating a new account was out. Thx Cindy..

Cindy, not to sound like a complete ass, but to reiterate, it always used to be compatible with Firefox and now it isn't. So if that's how you designed it, so be it, but since I doubt that...you know where I'm going with that...

Registering and Logging in are 2 separate processes. Once you have registered you need to log in and complete the Customer Details section.

If you register but do not log in, you will not be able to enter billing details.

If you are still having problems shoot me a PM with your Name, Email address and I'll take a look from the back end.

Cheers

EFILive only uses Firefox, so all of the content was created or edited with Firefox, including the store and all testing.

The only issue I have had with Firefox is with our Resellers page - for whatever reason my local PC using firefox isn't picking up the new URL and is defaulting to the old page which now does not exist. Forcing the refresh does fix my issue each time I do go to that page, but I haven't resolved my issue. I suspect it's a cookies issue. I have tested on 3 other PC's with firefox and none have generated this same error, which leads us to believe it's a local error to my PC.

Prior to going live we did additional testing in Explorer, and on Safari and the Google App.

Maybe try clearing your cookies.

Cheers
Cindy
