Been lurking around here the last few months and I just wanted to take a minute to thank you fine people for helping me out. I bought a 06 Sierra LLY with 140k on the odometer 3 months ago. Out the gate I loved it and still did but after about two weeks when I would try to WOT the machine, it would go into Safe Mode once the rpms came below 2k. So, I start searching here, first did a fuel filter change and it was a little bit better but would still go into Safe if I beat it at all. I did not do the bottle test but I went ahead and bought a fuel rail plug and replaced it. Bam, no issue since. If it wasn’t for searching these boards I would not have had the roadmap to happy driving, so thank you all!! This is my first oil burner and I am now tickled to death with no present issues but when an issue pops up, I know I can come here for clear direction! See around the forum and thanks a bunch!!!
