Thank God for MAF sensors!!

Forgot to take my nerf ball out and it sucked in on start up! My bro was like wtf was that sound?! I said idk I didn't hear anything... Ran for about 5 mins till I came back out and said hmm that sounds funny. The maf stopped it completely!!!! It was cut just enough to suck through enough to run. Wow was I lucky!!

i wasn't a few years ago....left a rag in my intake to keep any critters from getting in the truck while it sat overnight....

I have a towel I stuff in the intake on the dumpster to keep small animals from building a nest in there. A few months ago my dad went to crank it up and move it, and he came back in all pissed off because it wouldn't stay running. I went out, removed the towel, and it cranked up and ran great. He was slightly embarrassed. LOL

Had a friend do something sinilar with a pink shop rag in the outlet of the intercooler. Forgot it was there and put the truck back together and fired up. Couldnt for the life of him figure out what all the pink fuzz around the inside of his exhaust tip was. Damn rag made it all the way through the valves and turbocharger...
