She wants the dark blue. Not too many around here in 2011 models so she's going to wait for the 2012s to hit to get what she wants

my daughter is already turning 18 by december and she really wants a chevy cruze. i told her to wait until 2012 or 2013 because i am planning to aim for that diesel version of cruze which claims to aim for 50mpg. for sure i wont have any regret of getting that one. maybe i will just let my daughter drive our truck and i will be having the cruze.lol :)

Heard bmw was going to release the 3 series diesel here in the states i would love to get 1 of those with a 5 speed for the wife. even better if they brought the audi A8d they did that english show top gear where they drove a twin turbo diesel A8 over 800 miles on 1 tank of fuel with a v8 now thats what im talking about and could youimagine getting in there with efi live and some bigger injectors  :driving:

Well I got My mother to trade in her crappy 07 Saturn ion for a 2011 Chevy Cruze 1.4L Turbo.

She will not let me play with it with EFI-Live but I will get to at least DL the stock tune.

My friend has a 335d and it is amazing! He can get it tuned up to 400hp and 400lbs of torque for like $300-$400. He gets like 35-40 MPGs! its also comes with twin spinny things.

My wife has decided against the cruze now.

She really likes the Buick Regal & Lacross. She checked insurance rates and the cruze was going to be $550 more a year than a Buick.

So I think (for now) she's settled on a Buick Regal - non turbo. Still waiting to hear something from the lemon law attorney on her VW TDI

I can't believe all you guys like the chevy Cruze:screwy: I was driving my wifes Yukon last week and a wheel bearing went bad (Already 38k:mad:) Luckily I was only about 4 miles from the dealership we bought it at. Anyways I drop it off and they give me this sh!tty little car for a loaner. I tell the service guy I have 3 other guys with me (All over 6') and was hoping to get a bigger vehicle seeing I arrived in a yukon Denali that I had just bought from them 6 months ago. He tells me thats all my warranty covers and I could either pay for a upgrade or sit there and wait for them to change the wheel bearing.. Needless to say that little car got tested to its limits on the 20 mile trec back to my house to get my truck:eek:;) I never popped the hood but I am ssuming from the lack of power/acceleration it was not a turbo version. Other then being a gutless turd the seats were uncomfortable, the ride was far from great and I literally had my knees pinned against the dash around the steering wheel so the passenger could squeeze in the back. I could see buying this car for a high school kid, college kid, etc,, but theres no way I would buy one for myself or my wife.. JMHO though..........

yes they are a 4-Door 2-seater lol. Must have been the 1.8L crap in it the 1.4L Turbo is fun to drive if it is you and one other only more then 2 and it sucks.

4 door 2 seater about sums it up, lol.. :thumb: I can see the appeal from a economical stand point with a chevy cruze. But when you get use to the room of our trucks its no fun climbing into a little car with 4 adults..

On the Regal look into the eAssist.

Thanks, shopping online now.

Anyone know, is the regal a good car?

The wifes last 2 cars (jag x type and jetta tdi) have been nothing but headaches and trouble. Would really like to get her in something as reliable and dependable as my LBZ has been. And no, she doesnt want a full size truck:mad:

Isn't the 4 cylinder the same Eng/trans in other models?

E assist looks sweet but only on the 12 's. She's found an 11 she likes.

No more car shopping. This nonsense wears me out more than working.
