So, I goofed up and just read the title of the item I purchased from an eBay dealer, and really it's my fault. I usually over analyze everything and this just slipped through the cracks somehow, the title is a bit misleading. So, I bought a 1 gallon jug of Castrol transynd and this 5 gallon bucket of puresynd hd atf to do a few drain and fills on my lml. I'm faced with a dilemma on if I should eat the original cost of shipping and the cost of return shipping to new York and purchase another 5 gallons of transynd or use the product I've attached pictures below. It's said to meet the standard but, I'll take advice from a pro any day. My gut tells me to eat the cost of returning it and purchase castol. Any advice is appreciated. I can't find any information on the product, good or bad. Thanks in advance.

Here is a link to Allison's web site

Although that particular brand doesn't show up on the "official approved lubricant list" the fluid you've purchased is guaranteed to the TES-295 spec and standard, so it should be totally acceptable to use...I'm pretty sure I'd use it in this scenario...but I'm not, its your call, I personally see no issue, but I'm not smart...hopefully someone like Mike L will chime in tomorrow:thumb:

I appreciate the link and solid answer. I sort of feel like "Ya screw it, use it!" then my maintenance OCD kicks in and I don't really have confidence due to no real world info. Thanks for the reply.
