w/g and bov are to diferent things.

w/g control boost

BOV all boost to be eliminate almost imediatly as soon as there is a drastice drop in throttle demend "SHOULD NOT BE USED TO CONRTOLL BOOST" you can destory the turbo this way

Exactly. I know this, and apparently this guy, one of the "tech specialists" thinks that a wastegate will somehow get rid of excess pressure on the compressor side of things. And he's like "turbo bark isn't a bad thing" :confused:

Your right man, you said the right info and you are not the idiot. Thats why they are over there and we are over here. Its too bad though that people look to them for info. I run my own custom set up (cost me $200) and they obviously don't know tech, but do know bolt on. :rofl: You probably embarrassed him good though in front of everyone and he didn't like it. Hope fully he gets over it. Thanks:)

I cant stand those Tech badges. mostly morons. I think all you need is a pulse and some stuff bolted on your truck to get that designation.

lol yeah, don't run bigger than 3" exhaust, gota have backpressure for good scavenging!

He already basically admitted he doesn't know what he's talking about, and apologized for calling me out. Even though me, and subsequently Josh H made a fool of him. :spit:
