Well i burnt up the clutch awhile back on the jetta and now a buddy who wrecked his dmax wanted to borrow it for the time being so I decided it was a good excuse to fix it. He came over and we got quite a bit done. It was much easier than I had anticipated.

Needless to say, the clutch was toast. I took the pressure plate off and strands of fiber and dust with a few metal plates was all that fell to the ground. She was a little cooked. Flywheel was cracked too.

Replacing it with a South Bend Stage II clutch with South Bend 22lb single mass flywheel.

Should have a harder time burning this one up I hope.

Heres a pic of the new versus old.

Can't go wrong with a Rotary. My dads in his shop that has been used everday for 15 years plus has never ever been down. Damn good stuff.
