That doesn't work. It still downshifts. You have to use the DVT, special tune or a scan-tool.

How is downshifting when you're holding the throttle down, never had the want or need to run on a dyno. Or is it when you level off the throttle it downshifts.?

Thanks N2BRK, I have 2 TCMs and 4 modified TCM tunes for my truck on my EFI laptop, just never had the nut to install it after reading a shitload of opinions good and bad and not worth it in the long run, at least for me.
Me, I would never install a TCM tune that was not calibrated off my read out OS and both that I have were from the "read out" tune. You could copy what's in the tune posted and calibrate your read out tune, guess I overlooked that option...

i have a spare tcm i was going to throw a 4th gear lock tune in for the dyno. i tried using the DVT function my transmission made a really large bang when we put power down and limped. trans is a brandnew suncoast 6 i just want a tcm tune so i dont need to stress about it shifting etc
i think its still learning it should be ok
just want a trans tune i can run in 4th and locked i had a look at the one posted above its the same OS and looks like it should work so ill try it out monday
