i know my grandma used charity (taxe write off) to offest alot of the taxes... iirc you can charitably give up to 30%? of gross income

X2 I feel the same I would rather get a little back then live off less money every month.

I get ****ed either way.... i claim one so i pay less at the end of the year i could literally of paid almost 3/4s of new 56k truck with what I've paid in and still owe more i'm sure... can't wait for the tax lady to call

I bumped up two tax brackets this year and ended up oweing our school 384 and the gov about 850. I don't like them holding my money so by the time they had to pay out my wife we broke even.

Claimed single and zero last year. Paid in over 20k. Hoping to get at least 7k back to pay my truck off:woott: switched to married and one this year. Couldn't stand getting raped so badly.

Ive been even for the last 8 years, Got married last year so I gotta start over with finding the sweet spot. I'm half way through with my taxes and owe the feds 12K
Deductions start tonight, that figure hopefully comes down to under 2K :happy2:
