Got $2500 back, ordered a new set of wheels and the rest will go towards a paint job and knocking down my credit card!

We got back $70 something dollars and a bill from 2009 saying we owe $700 plus intrest to the state of California. Oh and btw we aren't residents of California. Lol FML

Wow. Why do you guys have that much being withheld?
We used to get a decent amount back, but the kids are teenagers now, so the child care and health care deductions pretty much disappeared, plus the house is almost paid off. I can hardly wait for the college expenses to start in about a year-and-a-half.

I don't have a reason to loan the government my hard earned money for 16 months interest free.

I either get a little back or write a check, either way I try to give as little as possible and get back as little as possible.

;)

X2 I feel the same I would rather get a little back then live off less money every month.

I never really looked at it this way, but the way the gov't is headed I'm not sure I want to loan my money to them interest free either.

I'm with you guys, I'd rather pay some than get back.
We'll probably get $5k - $7k back I'm thinking, but have to pay the company $5k - $9k. It's SUCKS being an American working in Canada, we get RAPPED on our taxes SO bad.
