EFI Live tune and a nice front mount turbo or even a ProCharger and that would help the MPG's. but if you get the 4L60E transmission be ready to buy another one if you add power to it. They are complete JUNK! I went thru 8 of them in my 02 Silverado and 4 of them after I installed my cam and heads. Only had the truck 5 months after getting the cam and heads installed.

But the shitty IFS on a tahoe isn't supporting the weight of a duramax...either way chair force homo and other haters...I ended up picking up a Tahoe the big dually wasn't doing it for me money wise haha

Haha..yes Dough I did. maybe I can show my face again if there's another McRat party. On a serious note though...love this thing...better on insurance, fuel and payment than the Furd...but miss the nice tuned power of a 6.4...it was just a fling I suppose...I do have a bowtie tattooed on me haha

Damn you Josh haha jk...I have heard some very good things about a 5.3 with a turbo...something about making 600hp or so with about $3200....all I know is the Hennessey packages don't have prices...so I probably can't afford them haha

Definitely should turbo or supercharge it. Had a 2007 NBS with a Magnusson supercharger on it, pushing right at 400rwhp. Talking about surprising a few punks when I'd floor it, the charger would start whining and then leave them. Haha, good times. I kind of miss that truck.
