T case noise

When I put my truck in 4wd an take off it makes a clicking noise like it's binding up. Any ideas?

Noises can be tough to diagnose without hearing them. Might be chain slap.

It's like it binds up an slips. Like it doesn't fully engage..

My old work truck is doing the same thing. We pulled the tcase out and checked it and it was perfect. Turned out it was the front diff. It sounded as though it was the transfer case the whole time.
