I see power gains with SynDiesel, but the gains are made by optimizing tuning to correspond, with higher cetain numbers and higher BTU content. The power is most defiantly there. Remember that VW did a lot of research with this fuel before specifying it as the fuel for their Jetta Cup series. I picked up 38 hp on Project X diesel in a marginal over fuel tune. On our NX Dmax Mustang the fuel seemed to run significantly smoother, especially in the upper rpm range
The fuel has a higher viscosity (thinner) and this give the opportunity to fuel quicker.
Bottom line this fuel has a lot of possibility’s but it’s like any other performance enhancer, it’s going to take experienced tuning, I'm not a tuner expert, so thats up to those of you that tune to get what works out there
