He hasnt used synapse before. He glanced at them and said we could figure it out. We are going to look at it this Saturday before going to the track Sunday. Just wondered if anyone here had experience with this specific brand to save me some time as I wanna get it a bit dialed in before the track Sunday

Check on YouTube, they were a popular brand when I had my evo and I know they had detailed videos of setting up their diverter valve, maybe there's something on gates too.

I have the 40mm one with my triples. Trent had told me to run full boost to port a. I've now got it setup with regulated pressure to port c as well. I've tried the different springs, different ports (full/regulated) to see what works best. It might be my setup but when I ran full boost to c and regulated to a it would open too much causing the truck to fall on its face so to speak. I did find that port d isn't 100% sealed, it leaks by a little as soot comes out of the port at times. Upon research synapse only used a brass or bronze seal around the shaft for that port and it's known to not seal 100%.

Are you just gating around your high pressure turbo or around the triples also?

Thanks for the info. They way you have it now is how I was thinking about starting.

im more worried about gating around the 5541 as i have a certain boost number in mind i want to keep that at. i highly doubt ill really "need" to gate around the 4202 but i put a gate there incase.

wonder if i just run the inbetween boost (boost big charger is making) to the top A port and run regulated boost to C and just dial it in that way.

You could try it and see. You could also run total boost to both and use a regulator on top port and see if you can dial it in. I cracked a piston before I could get everything dialed in on my previous setup. This one from Joe I will be running a Turbo Smart 60mm gate. It might be harder to dial in but I should not need another one if I get it right.
