Soooo, whats the reasoning for changing out to Transynd? Not worth it on a stock trans IMO.

Also FWIW, Allison only recommends changing the pan filter during an overhaul. UNLESS you find stuff in the pan then I would change it, but its not going to fix it...

i heard it was the best for stock allisons , just going on that and ya ive heard that might skip it not to sure. hoping to not find anything in the pan, fingers crossed.

that and i get it for cost ;)

this is direct from DF.

so again, if you dont run the pan dry you will have no issues. i can understand his side, if you get one of those special guys on DF that do a flush by letting the pan go dry each time, then have him come back bitchin about how his trans is shit now. Eitherway you do it should net you what your looking for. one just takes more driving than the other. i get the "warm fuzzy" feeling when i flush it as i feel its getting more of the fresh fuild in it that way than draining and refilling. I have no proof to back that though but in theory you would think it would work that way

i get ya 100% i would feel much better to have 100 % transynd to, just i am afraid of running it dry. have heard and read a few horror stories and not sure i can trust myself on a 3000 dollar item :)
