I have sent an email to Cindy, Is anyone else having a problem with an error message (the program has experienced an error and now will be closed). I get this error message after flashing a vehicle and then attempting to close the program. The flashing of the vehicle works fine and closing the programing window works fine. Get the error message when I go to close Tuning tool after flashing. I can use the tuning tool and have multiple windows open and then close each window with out any problems. Error message only happens when trying to close the program after flashing a vehicle.

There are only a handful of beta testers, you are one of them. At this stage you are the only person with this error. I forwarded your feedback to Ross when it came through and I'm waiting on a response - he's been caught up with some other items this week and will hopefully have time to dedicate to this on Monday or Tuesday.

No, not yet. It won't be available for at least another 3 or 4 weeks, maybe even 5 or 6 weeks.
Ross has almost finished our first LMM OS, and once that is flashed into a truck without issue I'll be calling for LMM testers.

At least I'm not the only one with the problem. Usually I get the problems that no one else seems to get.
I've had this problem too, before I started testing. Didn't think anything of and wrote it off to Vista since it didn't cause any serious problems.
Vista here too not that it really bothers me. It never use to do it maybe it was something in the last update or 2.
We are not seeing widespread (thank goodness) occurrences of application errors like are being described here.
Are that any particular software builds that are problematic? You can check your software build by going to the 'Help->About' menu option in the Tune Tool.
Application errors such as those are generally caused by corruption in the software, and we would therefore definitely recommend a clean install. Backup your 'C:\Program Files\EFILive' and 'My Documents\EFILive' folders before removing any EFILive software.

I'm having the same exact problem as Duramax 6.6 described, but I took the same approach to solving it as DmaxHawk. I have V7.5.5 Build 88 of the software.

I had trouble with the last update I did. I don't know if we backed up it before/if anything got removed since my wife fixed it for me.

Can you please also advise if you have installed any EFILive files manually - are you running BETA files, or have you installed some efilive files that were not part of the initial download?
Our initial thoughts were that these problems are being caused by the zip extraction and manual installation of files. Our "cure" was going to be the next release as a full install. Between board user names, and email addresses, I know a couple of you are running Beta, but am not sure about some of you.

I am running beta and never had this problem before manually adding the beta files as described in the instructions.
I am not running any beta files unless they were publicly released beta files from EFI's forum on their website. I can't remember if I have installed any files separately from regular from a zipped folder or not. I know I have before, but I don't know if I have since I last updated. I can't even pinpoint when exactly I started having this problem.
