Switching without the switch? Sounds like someones pulling your chain..you can flash a new tune in but it's not an on the fly type deal

If I remember right, this was available on the LBZ's for a while untill they released the beta for support on an external switch. I am not sure if it is or was ever available on the LB7.

They way I understand, it's for the LB7 & LLY only. Not LBZ/LMM.

LB7 and LLY, Change the parameter in your dsp5 tune from hardwired to V2. Not avail on the LBZ or LMM, and never has been.

you need to edit the tunes in your options text file. Also make it select the correct controller by selecting LB7 or whatever controller (select PIDs). If you have the current software you can set this up without having to customize your options file manually.

you can access the switch in the V2 by going to tuning tool, then select Switchable tunes, after selecting PIDs (controller)

No, you don't. You will need to run DSP O.S. though

EDIT: The switch is $50... It's well worth it IMHO

If you want to stitch tunes with the V2 on the fly, you have to have it plugged into the ODB II port all the time, which may be a PITA. I like having the stitch.

If you do not have EFILive, make sure you buy from someone who will send some tunes with the equipment. There are vendors here who will make a quick custom tune for YOUR truck based on what you have done to it, intake, exhaust, lift pump, bone stock, whatever....

im probably going to keep the dsp2 switch in the 01 but once i start tuning the new build i'd prefer to use Ben's mount for the V2 and use that universally
