probably 2/3 to 3/4 around the diameter is miss shaped. I just cleaned and checked all the rest of them and they are all fine just one is messed up. so since Bill isn't wanting to help who wants to buy a good set of slightly used exergy 60 over LLY's Ill send them to a shop to get tested repaired for whoevers buys them and then they can send them to you. I payed 2330$ make someone a good deal and would like cores if possible.

So wait a minute, you have had these in your possession since December of 2013, just now notice a problem with them, and expect the seller to "make it right"? Just to play devils advocate here, how does he know you didn't somehow do that in the last 1.5+ years? or that it wasn't damaged in shipping.

If he knowing sold you a shitty injector as good, I'll agree that's wrong of him, but if you held these things for this long and never saw this, I don't think its right to come in and slam the guy.

Why don't you point out where the F I slammed this guy in this thread I started it to see if anyone had seen this before and if anyone knew how to get ahold of him so I could ask for his help. and as I stated on a post on the first page I know he didn't knowingly sell me one cause they were not cleaned off and no one would have seen it. I took them out of the box to make sure they were intact and not damaged from shipping and packed them back up and put them on the shelf to use down the road. all I did was ask for his help. Did you even read all the posts?

I'll try that. I doubt they are bill said it came from a good running motor.

I'm just trying to wrap my head around the nozzle getting swelled... The tip plugged and fuel swelled it or something happened in the cylinder (hydro lock?) to blow that thing up.

Just curious about the spray pattern, should be a nice even star.

Heat comes past the copper if the injector is lifting or not sealing due to dirty surface and this overheats the nozzle and with the pressure inside from the fuel it can balloon it out. there is signs of discoloring beneath the cap nut. also over pressurization can do this but since its only one I believe it is the first issue causing it.

Just to let everyone know Bill has emailed back and said if I get a price for the repair that he will consider paying for the repair of that injector.

Ok you didn't slam him, no, I was wrong. But in the post I quoted you say you want to sell them "since bill isn't willing to help" sure sounds like you got your underoos all twisted up because he won't pick up the tab for parts he sold you almost 2 years ago.

If he pitches in any $$ for that he is an awesome guy.

Yeah I just asked him to help with that one. And we have talked now and may have something worked out. If not then I will make them right and sell them. I'll even throw them in my motor and take a video of it running and sell them. I have 100's on the way so I can get this up and running. Just because I stated he isn't will to help which was the truth this morning didn't mean I was slamming him.

He didn't slam him at all. Just asked if anyone had seen this before and if anyone knew how to get ahold of him.

I only see one person getting bent out of shape.

Thanks man. I'm a shop owner and business person in this field and this is how I would want it handled.
