Since we are testers...

I would say nuke 'em in the micro see what happens...

Then try the oven... maybe 5 minutes at 350*

soak them in sugar water for 5 minutes?

Map gas flame thrower?

put them in a vise and squash them...

put them in a plastic bag and hit them with a hammer until you get the consistancy you like!

If you still don't like 'em feed 'em to the dog in return for tricks :)

Chris- can't flame a guy for telling the truth...:)

Test 1 has been completed!
I put them in the nuke for 1 min on Hi they came out warmhot (too hot to be warm and too warm to be hot). I bit into one and it was quite soft. Very comfortable to eat with a nice heaty sensation.

Next is the oven. Max, should I preheat it to 350 then cook for 5 mins or do a cold start to 350 for 5 mins?

Oven tests: cold start provided a nicer turn out. Again the product was warmhot and soft. With the preheated test, they came out cooked and hard.

Next test is the Sugar water 5mins.

pre heat 350*

The sugar water may turn them to mush, 1 minute max soaking IIRC. I believe the water needed to be at 212* and pressurized to 30psi, measured at the end of a 2 x 2" nipple reduced to 1/2 npt.

Put them in sugar water, one glass hot, one glass cold. The hot glass product came out a bit softer. Other than that, the only difference between wet and dry, was that they were wet....and the color started coming off..

These tests are completely baseless and without merit. Statistically useless. I say each test needs a sample size of 10 iterations with results plotted and bell curves analyzed to draw some really useful conclusions.:p

Any Six Sigma guys on here?
