I've seen this on an 02' it would go down the freeway at 70 but it took forever to get there and would only maintain 4-5K and any throttle it would drop off. new pump a year ago and it was all good ever since. Worst part was the guy had it to two other shops before. one put a new set of injectors in it and that didn't work and the second did a s366 turbo swap and sent it out he door.

Some people and some shops I swar  It's not running correctly I know lets throw a mod at it:roflmao:
Glad you got it worked out Adam...

get after it before it truely dies and trashes your injectors. all these damn issues just wont leave ya alone adam

got the one off the LMM. down to draining coolant so I can get to the 4 bolts that hold it in... on the LBZ engine

completely forgot about the cam gear slop plate.. when there isn't a crankshaft gear there to hold it.. that was a PITA to get off...

im told you "don't" have to pull the y -bridge and intake to get it out...
pulling the logs off and cleaning them as well.

cant a man just make some money?!?

I try on every cp3 I change and have not succeeded with the y in place. I always get pissed and remove the y.

Pull the pump gear off it will just need 3/8" extra clearance..
And how you pull the y bridge with stock turbo blocking access to lower rear bolt idk either..

I pulled the lift pump or whatever is on the back of the cp3 off. It comes right out that way, but going back in assembled is a task but doable. Y bridge stayed in place.

1/4 drive extensions and come from the drivers side with a universal for the pass side bolt and come from the pass side for the drivers side bolt.

Coolant lines on stock turbo get in the way.. My 4088 is up 1" and back about 3/4" where I can get my hand in to place the nuts back on the rear studs.
I got my LMM long block on a stand with now harnesse/fuel rails and stock turbo trying to picture what your saying.. Which what i do when the turbk isn't in thebway
