Has anyone put a Duramax in a Ford Super duty truck?

Not that I’ve ever see. Probably depen on what year of truck. The newer the harder.

Only seen it done in a couple of pulling trucks. Not on street-driven trucks. BUT, my guess is it has been done on a street truck or two, just not many times and not done with a detailed build online.

Was that the 06-07 extended cab that was Cummins 12V /Allison swapped to begin with, then swapped to a LBZ?

Was swapped to an lb7 iirc, but yes, it was a 6.4, then a 12 valve, and finally a duramax.

Duramax/Alli in a Super Duty

Not what you think! It has had a 12 valve with twins running right around 800hp for the last 2 years, and a Allison. Customer likes his truck and wants something different that has quicker spool up and less smoke than the 12 valve. This is what it looked like under the hood until a short time...

No but the 2020 L5P's have a Super Duty transmission in them. Close enough?
