These kits have been in testing for over a year and so far have showed that they can hold the power. I have some of these. I am going a different route with a different lining but still retaining the oil slots for lube and will retain the two sided frictions. The number of clutches will increase both in C3 and C4.
I will test them against each other on the same trucks. Should prove very interesting.
Going to be a good year for the Allison.

there are more parts to a tranny build than clutches and steels. You may want to look into the suncoast stage III or IV kits:thumb:

These Gmax kits are replacing the IV kits by suncoast. I am going to bite the bullet possibly with in the week. I am wondering if i want to contact a dealer who still has access to the IV or if i am going to try out the GMax kit.

Alto developed the Gmax kit. Suncoast will have one year exclusive on this kit then it is open to all.

For a 6 speed, is a transgo as wise choice for buying time and wait for the technology? 500hp only no dd and 6500 pound truck.
