I have never seen it on any trucks. What is it good for? Out of all the SC converters, which would be the best for our truck, daily driving, towing, but preferably racing conditions?

1057 is what I would choose. You don't have a big enough turbo to warrant a looser converter. You already have the 5 star which is probably slightly looser than the 1056. I would let Joe ( PPE ) do a couple of launches and see if he thinks you need to go tighter. Bet he says yes.

Yes. I also think a billet input shaft is in order with big turbo and loose converter because of the big whack that will happen upon converter clutch locking. I don't think you need this though.

Rumored to be a 3" inducer S400 with T4 foot. I talked to Wade about it. He said that "IF" it came out it would be a kit with new manifolds, up pipes, and T4 pedistal. Being its ATS I guess it would be big money.

dieselson,

Mike L talked me into a 1057 and I love it should be good for what you described. It has been great in my truck.

I love my 1057, worked great on the stock turbo, I would love to try Mike's new converter with my gt4094 and new hot+2et.
