For what it's worth, I used a 100 gph Carter lphv pump on the first truck I ever built, and it only sustained 500hp. In order to maintain rail pressure to make more than that, I had to add a second pump (it was cheaper for me to do that at the time). This truck had a socal billet pickup kit on it as well, and a new lbz cp3. It still had low tank level issues.

I have never once in 5 years of owning dmax's with fass 150's experienced 1/4 tank issues. Stock pickup tube, making almost 900hp, can run the tank till the light is on and drive another 15 miles with no issue.

The lift pump itself is only returning a small portion of the fuel, at low demand the return system on the engine is returning the hot, unused fuel. Then of course, at high demand when you are actually needing and making power, virtualy nothing is being returned

My LMM has the 1/4 tank issues with airdog 150. Thinking of going to a sump myself.

My truck actually is hard to start when it gets below a 1/4 tank.

I ran my lb7 dry once. Didn't act up until there was literally no fuel. Pumped in 26 gallons haha. My dad's driven well over 50 miles on the low fuel light with his lbz. Never a problem. All the pumps I've put on a work run down to low fuel message without a problem. Only truck besides mine I've had a problem with is a '13 lml. He had issues with his fass 150. Had to do a sump.

Then there's my lly that did exactly this ^
If I pushed much below half a tank the pump got loud as shit and supply pressure became erratic. I put a beans sump in mine.
