I'm just commenting on engine power, I realize transmission loss is excessive right now. How do I contact Evan to get a quote on a transmission build?

Trans is cooked, my LLY did the same thing, converter clutches got smoked and c1's and c3's were toast it ran 220+ just cruising, I had it at 280 the night I finished it off, it still ran but RPM's were through the roof unless the converter was locked, just run tow/haul til it dies. The LMM didn't get hot until it quit pulling, still scratching my head on that one.

When you say 600whp, that means 600 wheel horse power, not crank horse power. Big difference ;)

I understand what it means. I have a 500WHP N/A LS Powered Pull Truck I've dyno'd here. My Duramax Mark @ Danville said would make 600-650 with a properly functioning transmission. So I guess you could say I'm referencing the potential power it could make, rather than the actual power as I've never had it on the rollers here. But yes I understand how this all works and how HP is measured Crank vs Wheel. My 4L80 is the definition of Drivetrain loss right now with a Non-Lockup 5,500 Stall.

Talked to Evan today, his pricing seems extremely competitive and its only around a 6 hour drive to see him. Would be nice to have it all installed and knows it's 100% before driving back across the border.

I drove more then that to have Mike build mine.

Remember if you try and ship it and install it yourself you still have all of the junk, clutch material, etc in the cooler lines that will need to get cleaned out. Evan has the proper machine to do this so I vote driving to Evans shop to have it done
