What is the likelihood of all these people who have been using efilive to be putting the info in wrong? I like mitch have done it many times before and my info is correct but it always reverts to demo.

I was thinking everyone updated, and never went back and fixed the reg info. maybe it is a EFI bug :dontknow:

What version and build are you guys running? I thought I was running the most current release, but I am not having any of these problems. I'm on V7.5.6 Build 99.

I've got the one post 1/10/10. V5.something. Not the v8.something.

Info is in, n won't work without plugging USB cable into comp. With cable hooked up I go to register n takes the registration n says something to the effect of "efi live will be registered when you open another tune". If I unplug, it's back to demo mode.

If I try to register without chord plugged in, nothing seems to happen n it stays in demo mode.

Well, I'm a bit ashamed. I usually don't say I'm 100% sure something is what it even if I am certain. Instead, I normally say something like "virtually certain" (good ol engineering strategy to leave yourself a little wiggle room for doubt :D ) and on this rare occasion that I got cocky and prnounced with certainty that all the info was in correctly, I was wrong.

Cindy nailed it. All info that was already filled in when I went to register was correct, with exception to the DAY on the date. I seen the month and year were correct and overlooked the day completely until I deliberately checked it after Cindy's post. Switched to the correct day and I've been happily tuning all evening without the usb cable plugged into the comp.

How can you get this out of demo mode without your Blue Registration card?
Mines a few hours away at home. It's a hassle plugging up your V2 every time you want to open a tune.

Glad you got it sorted out.

You can always email support at efilive dot com and request your information again. Depending on the time and the day you place your request will depend on the response time due to time zone differences. (It's currently 11 am Tuesday morning in New Zealand)

Cheers
Cindy
