Stroker pumps

Afriend of mine told me if I put a stroker or a modded stage 2 cp3 pump on my truck it would not be very streetable. He drives an 06 dodge. Just wandering how this will work.

jeez i thought you where cool and here i find out you listen to guys tht drive dodges LOL :rofl: jk like every one else said you will be just fine i have had dual cp3s on my truck for over 40,000 miles :) now tht you have efi the skys the limits well your botom end is lol

Unless you add the "turbo in a bottle" to it the stock turbo is going to be your limit before the stock CP3 (with a lift pump) will. After you upgrade turbos is when you need to start considering your CP3 options. IMO unless you plan to run in a sled pull class that restricts you to one CP3 you should just go straight to dual. If you have to run 1 pump a modded/stroker CP3 with a boost indexed regulator, high pressure lift pump setup is going to get you the most fuel. Wicked Diesel sells such a lift pump kit and Danville has been running his own setup with good results on a simple modded CP3 (not a stroker).

Why would someone spend money on a stroker or mod pump, when people like Banks can make 1000hp on a single stock cp3?
