Ferrari's are death traps. The carbon fiber chassis snaps when it hits something, usually expelling the occupants.
Be safe, don't drink, keep speeds reasonable.
Yes, I race on the street occassionally, but...
1) Illegal, yes
2) I don't race through traffic.
3) Rarely go 10mph over limit, most streets here are 45 or 55 so makes for a good race to 50-60mph. Enough to proclaim a winner.
4) I pre judge my environment, puddles, curves, crowded roads, etc.
5) I don't drink and drive.
6) I try to responsibly race illegally.
Guarantee in a Farrie and Porche, they were way speeding (very fast according to evedence) and also drinking. Bad combo. Makes police ban crusing and come down really hard on street racing.
I'm luck and have a track that has open drags for $10/20 bucks only 45 minutes away and can race all the big blocks and ricers I want. As fast as you can race, exit, make circle to get in line again.
If my kids were to drag race, I'd have a shit fit, go figure. Probably cause I know its not safe.
