Strange DSP5 issue

Hmmm... ok well I just always thought Position 1 was just the stock tune and 2,3,4,5 are all modified. It's not really a big deal, it's just annoying when it's real cold. Cold motor plus race tune is pretty jumpy especially with a ZF-6 :)

If you have a truely stock tune in the base position it's limiting tables will be holding back your bigger DSP tunes. That is why most tuners prefer to build a DSP5 tune with the race tune as the base - it's limiting tables are taken care of. The alternative is to take a race tune, swap in the tables that are under the DSP folders from a stock tune, then put your desired tunes in the DSP folders - now you have a "stock" tune in the base position and your other tunes in the DSP positions without anything being held back. If what we are all saying is happening is the case then it wouldn't matter what order the tunes were in - it's referencing a table that is in the base tune. Long story short if you don't build your own tunes then leave your tuning issues to your tuner - in your case Fleece.
