Thats an oxymoron. If you do anything to it you ARE CHEATING.
A couple trucks in WS got caught with illegal chargers last night & all it took was a visual external inspection to know they were cheating. They still couldn't beat Fryman though.
In williamstown? Whose trucks? Fryman passed the tech, or didn't get protested?

Grant co/williamstown. NKTPA pull. Freaking turbos were blatantly illegal! They had pedestals for cryin out loud. LOL
The tech just decided to tech top 5. He was joking but then they started throwing each other under the bus so he really did it. LOL. It was just an external visual inspection. Didn't pull inlet tubes or anything. But yes, Fryman & everyone else passed tech except the woulda-been 2nd & 3rd place trucks I believe.
I can't believe they haven't ever done a real complete tech of the chargers with inlets removed & such. Pretty sad really & the biggest problem around here - lack of thorough teching.

I'm surprised nktpa did that at all though. heck we were ruled illegal with a legal charger in a bob pull, called loyd and he gave us the all good over the phone. nktpa doesn't seem to have it as together as BOB
I've never been teched on my turbo, except once, and that was just a peek under the hood. Ofcourse I've pulled just a few times and never in the top 3.
