OK .... This got me wondering. I have my stock (Pre EFI) tune that I pulled off my ECM the day I got EFI. It is untouched. I pulled a stock tune off here with the same OS and compared the 2 and there were huge differences. Am I missing something?

Here are the differences .....

Interesting ... I am wondering if I should run my scripts on this tune instead of my stock tune?

Did you have any type of programmer before you bought EFILive?

If it was the Edge Juice, it doesn't change anything in the ECM. If it had some sort of programmer on it prior to you purchasing the truck, it may have some side effects from that still in there. I've heard Bully Dog is bad about that, but I've never seen any proof.

Not just OS numbers have to match, so do all the cal numbers.

1 of the tunes you posted looks like no egr vs other, also 1 is a long bed and one is short...

The best OS for a 2002 is the 15186006/Federal OS.

;)
Works pretty good in an 01 to:thumb:.

Some of those differences in tuning can make for a slightly quiter engine at idle, but I don't reccomend using your old OS and them making the changes to it. I tried this and yes it made it quieter(even the wife commented on it being quieter), but the downside was that it would load up at idle after about 30 seconds and begin to lope. AFter a few minutes you would get a heavy diesel smell out the tail-pipe and some light smoking. I went back to stock and no more problems.
