So bumpity bump bump after a search
For simplicity sake and ignoring the factory sizes, would it be possible to put a turbo designed for an lml on an lbz? From what I understand the only difference is the dp outlet angle. So with an lml down pipe, would this work? My gears are turning on this one with some ideas and as wondering if anyone has successfully done this or ran into other issues.
You can physically bolt it up and control it. You would need a LML downpipe (11-15, non 3-bolt flange) but I don't see any logical reason to do so as there is no benefit over a stock turbo. You can put any 04.5-10 turbo on an LML with the 04.5-10 downpipe as well. The downfall is the LML lacks the same level of detail in the vane tables that the 04.5-10 trucks have (IE 04.5-10 trucks have much more adjustment/control in the vane tables).

It's an old junk farm truck so I wasn't afraid to bend and pry. But try as I might, it would require a total revamp of the fuel return system including the fuel temp sensor. So definitely doable but not worth it in this app.Did you make a work-around for it, Ike?
