after trans n headgaskets n bein too broke to afford repairs on this dailydriver

if it's your daily driver than why do you want 700hp with twins and a easy way to blow your motor...

Buy a beater then do what tyou want to your truck. And stop posting like your writing a text message..

sorry guys! i am working on not sounding like a text message, but talking in text on a forum it is habit sort of for it to feel the same as talking in text on a text message! sorry guys. but i am getting a beater this week actually but i just like having a nice hotrodder to drive around, i enjoy it just like a guy with a vette does except i like diesel performcance!

dont say that, remember, its a LLY, it'll last forever :D

haha is the lly the best of the lineup??

and oh im definately planing on the worst with more mod's! im gonna do just twins then later down the road a few years build motor, then dual fuelers and injectors and bigger twins!!!

this is the way to do it to survive from what i understand! confusin tho cause some said to go ahead and do injectors now with my small twins thatt it'l help the motor survive

Can injectors help a motor live a little longer at higher power levels? From what I've read and been told yes. But you need to have someone you trust tune it for you. I have a set of 100% over tips I'd like to put in my truck before I build the bottom end to see what I can get out of a stock motor. But by no means am I telling you to do what I am waiting to do.

Well you can look at it that way. Larger injectors will help your motor last as long as you don't go for max effort like you did with stock injectors. So say with your set up your at 620 hp with factory injectors at max effort. And then you add say 30 over injectors and don't run it full tilt aka max effort and you wind up at 650 then your motor will last longer but if you go all out max effort you aren't going to last longer. The purpose of larger injectors is to lower pulsewidth and timing. Two major causes for our failures. Just my .02.

okay got you guys! so larger injectors with really good tuning will get me a tad more power and be safer!!! loks like i will do the twin turbos and injectors with really dialed in tuning by a pro!!

what about cp3 leave it stock or anything done with it to help stock motor live and maybe pick up few horses at same time?

either dustin @ dieseladdiction "othrgrl", or harley @ georgiadiesel will be doing the work and the tuning!

Dustin would be the best choice...

I hear that dustin is fantastic with tuning in the fueling for LARGE injectors but i think rob is the best tuner for twins. He seems to get his drive pressures and boost pressures EXTREMELY close together. I have heard of some other tuners tuning twins that were having drive pressure being a little to high for my liking. But both are great tuners you will be in good hands with Justin. Best of luck to you!!!!!
