Hey guys. I'm a noob so if this is in the wrong place i apologize. I recently purchased an 06 3500 LBZ (I think. It is a 10/05 with D VIN code.) Duramax with Allison. It has 214,000 miles and stock as far as i know. When i purchased it it didn't hardly smoke in any situation. Now I'm getting black smoke on acceleration and at low RPM at highway speed. I took a screenshot of some of my OBDII readings at acceleration and a short video. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is this in the wrong place? I have seen other posts get responses today and mine was the only one that didn't.

Thank you! Haven't had time to check much of anything out but I'll start there. I can check that with some ether correct?

No never use ether ever on a diesel. To check boost leaks you pressurise the system. Duramaxtuner has a nice video on uoutube showing how to do it

X2....you use ether on your tuck, you're liable to get a surprise that hurts you and the pocket book. Never use ether.. Start with MAF. Check air cleaner. Then move to checking for boost leaks.
