I'm going to be twinning my S472 with a S483.
How does it spool compared to stock? Also how does it tow? Do you have to do allot of downshifting to keep egt's in check?I like my S472 on the street.
Its too big. One thats properly set up that is. A machined S483 will greatly outflow the box S510. I happen to know a guy that does killer work on turbos, so I'll be using his S483.

Not to argue because it would be cool if i was wrong but your saying your S483 is going to flow over 160 lbs per minute ? I'll have to see it to believe it , not to mention the turbine side on the S510 will flow a whole bunch more than an S400 ever will , not saying the S510 is the right turbo for what you want , but that's a pretty bold claim to make hell even a GT5533 is -10 lbs a minute less than a S510 .
I just did a google search for S510 compressor maps, and this is what I found.
Compared to a GT5533
I don't see where the Garrett is down in overall airflow.
I didn't take it as a bag on the GT. I was just shocked when you said the BW flowed 10 lbs/min more. I googled to compare the maps, and I was a little confused when I compared the two maps. I didn't realize there was a new map. Thanks for posting it. Do you know if they changed something? It wasn't meant to be a bag on the GT5533 , it is an awesome charger just a comparison, the map in the 2010 airwerks catalog peaks at 160.
