Hello guys this is my second post in the forum .. I hope it is the right place for my request ... I'll explain the ECU of your duramax here in europe or better
in italy are very popular on many vehicles ...
I tune them successfully for a long time but since I'm going to
swap a duramax in a European car I wanted to study some files
stock of your ECU. anyone who has the original stock dell'lb7/lly file with ECU edc15c8
or lbz or lmm file with ECU edc16c37 or edc16c42 please could post them ? thank you

What format are you looking for exactly? Are you using EFILIVE, or something else? If you're looking for true BIN files, not many of us have those. Maybe try the EFILIVE forum as I know you need a BIN file in order to write .cax files to add in custom tables.

Wath is an file cax?i D'ont use efilive..i use winols or alientech Titanium file editor...
I Need the file inside in a flash eprom in binary fomat...
Only the engine ecm flash i Need ed..
usually for lb7 / lly with EDC15 the file and large 512kb
for LBZ or Lmm with edc16 the contents of the flash and 1Mb or 2Mb

.cax files are custom files that users of efilive create to add in tables that are not present in the siftware already. They use the raw binary file, and programs like yours to find, map, then create them to work in the efilive program. You might try the efilive forum as they have the raw binary files as well as several there also have some. I thought you were looking for BIN files and not efilive files as reads using efilive will be of no use to you in your programs. I think tunercat also uses raw bin files as well.

From the sounds of it, he is already setup with programs that use BIN files as he said back in post #1 he does EURO BOSCH ECM tuning. It just makes sense for him to stick with his own software that is fully capable of doing everything EFILIVE can instead of buying another tuning setup for 1 car.
