How high does the stock boost sensor read? I ask because I installed a cts monitor the other day and my boost gauge was reading around 28 psi at WOT but now with the cts it is only reading 22  is the stock boost sensor maxing out or was my analog boost gauge a bit optimistic?

I have an EFI Log from my truck pegging BOOST_DMA at 52.6 PSI, with BARO2 = 13.3 PSI. So that was 39.3+ PSI boost on the stock sensor with EFILive.

The CTS might not be able to read the BOOST_DMA PID though.

ive heard many times stock lb7 boost sensor will only read about 22-23psi max out on edge insight. to solve that i bought a boost sensor will read up to 100psi its part number 98607 but you need accessory add on kit which is part number 98605 from edge. then put the sensor inline with the wastegate works great. i wont lie its pretty pricey but i didnt have to buy any other gauge mount or gauges and you can also add other accessory then too like any kind low pressure like lift pump pressure sensor which i will add soon. theres others check out on edge site expensive but very convenient and clean look of everything in one spot.

Edge offers an add on sensor that will read higher. Installs like a normal pressure gauge does and hooks up with a daisey chain connector. I have seen high 50s with mine.

That's what I was thinking. Wasn't it Mike S. that was working on adapting another sensor for it a long time ago?

I believe pat was and/or did as well but my old edge w/ attitude would read up to 27psi on the stock sensor so i wonder why the difference??
