Anyone tried this yet in their stock turbo twin setup (running a batmowheel on the stock charger). Ill be ordering one in two weeks and was curious what gains you saw.

I wouldn't expect any large gains in peak power

That's not to say its not worth doing from what I have seen on dyno sheets it should be way. Egret at getting on top of the chargers.

Yeah im lookin for huge number gains but something a little more out of what i got. Eventually, ill put a billet wheel in the 475 but id like to see what this nets me first

For the cost I wouldn't do it... It did absolutely nothing for anthonys dads truck. But that was a Garrett VVT turbo not an IHI

Nick, to see the gains you really need to look down low in the graph.

The place I would expect to see big gains is driving around on the street.

Yeah, im willing to "guinea pig" this in a twin setup to see if there really id any difference. Im all for better spool up though and if it will let that s475 breath easier through it, its gotta be worth somethin.

The plan is to get the truck goin, run on the stock wheel at the track on a 2800pw tune, then put the batmowheel in and a week or two later run it again. That should give me a decent idea of any differneces. For some reason i have this idea that any little additional flow from the wheel that might be seen on a single charger will be amplified by the s475 feeding more air to it and it being able to push more air through it. Just a theory.

I might try porting the comp housing also let that 475 push as much as it can. IDK its free.

I have been contemplating this also I already have the billet in the 475 and if this helped low end spool like they say it does street play would be awsome.

Do you have a larger air horn on the IHI? I would think that would show more of an improvement than the BMW

I have a dusted & a fod LLY chargers that I have been thinking hard about repairing with a Bat wheel... Might have to throw one on with my twins.

Carfryer, I have the same opinion on the compressor housings on the VVT's being a restriction to some point. A bigger charger will cram more air through but eventually the compressor housing & wheel size will stop any more gains from the atmosphere charger. I think I will try this. I have 2 chargers to mess up so why not:D

I have not tried it and probably wont. One,my motor still isnt together and two, id rather put a billet wheel on the s475 like others suggested.

Anyone monitoring drive pressure before and after the batmo wheel swaps? That should tell you if it's doing anything or not.
